It's been a long time

God i've been lazy. Not really just working too much, enough to fall asleep on the sofa every night.
But now i'm back, i'll try to update this website again... daily maybe (yeah right).
While Scotland was watching the Sonic Youth at the Carling Academy, we were in Ashton Lane, Brel Bar, watching Ally Kerr and his band playing to marvelous sets.
Funny, i reckon i wouldn't enjoy myself as much if i was at SY. The atmosphere at the Brel was great, and the soundtrack was superb. Ally played some new tunes, which could fit perfectly in another beautiful album if he was to put out one.
You can check Ally Kerr website for more information and for gig dates. He is selling the album, released in Japan this year, from his website and now from Fopp... and if you are clever enough that's what you'll do! So GO!

Album of the Day

This is Nick Drake and this album is so good to listen to in the morning... even if the world is crowed

Teenage Fanclub goes overseas
Photo taken at SESC Pompeia in May 2004, Brazil. We stalked the band to Brazil... did i say stalk? I mean followed... to take amazing photos of their first visit to the country. They played 5 gig. 3 in Sao Paulo (photos), one i Recife and the last one in Curitiba Pop Festival, headlining one of the nights. I couldn't get in with my camera... i NEED a press pass!

lousyMUSIC major updates:
Saturday - 4th September

(01.55) Didn't i say i was productive? I put up more stuff in the Belle & Sebastian Gallery as well... but there are many many photos to go. They were taken at the Botanic Gardens during this summer. It was a great day, many bands and my 1st B&S gig. Lovely!

(00.20)There are a few more photos from that gig at the TFC Gigallery. I've been so productive in the past couple of days... oh so proud.

Friday - 3rd September
Just doing some wee changes to the website. Nothing major ... so far, apart from this amazing photo of the fannies, there will be much more to come, this is just a teaser.

I just put up a wee page with photos of Ally Kerr, check it out!

Saturday - 3rd July
New pages to come, MANY new pages. At the moment i'm working on the Belle & Sebastian page with photos taken at the West End Festival, then i'll add a new section to the Teenage Fanclub in Brazil and a few more photos of the BMX Bandits. There are another few new pages including Preston School of Industry, Ally Kerr, Jad Fair and another pages with supporting acts.

Sunday - Easter
(15.30) Productive Easter! Just added a new page ... called The Places. I'm planning to put photos of all the places we've been to over the last few years. Only 3 of Glasgow there so far because we still need to scan the others.

(01:40) New Teenage Fanclub photos from the Pink Floyd night at Mono Café . Only 3, but that's all i could capture from where i was. Raymond is not there, unfortunatelly.

I move the Nada Surf autograph to the Stalker'sPace page.

Friday
(23:45) I'm beginning The Collection page. The intention is to add all our cds to it, but it will take ages. There are a few there now.

Wednesday

(22:40) A Columnist has used (with our permition i must add) a photo of Eugene Kelly when writing a review on the album Man Alive released in Japan this year. If you can read portuguese, then take a look at Gilberto Custodio's column at Revista Zero.
